waiting for new horse!

After a long search and 2 failed vettings, my new horse passed the vetting yesterday and is arriving today!! I am so nervous I might be sick, but it's all very exciting. He's my first horse and the vet thought he was perfect. Just had to share my nerves/excitement.....

Yeeeeeeeay, happy new horse, how exciting! I remember those nerves and then the minute he was on the yard I was just like pheeeew.

When the horse arrives & you put him in the stable for the first time & look over the door at him & realise the enormity of it all you'll probably well up inside, but in the good way. I know I did............. & I'm a bloke. Your whole life is now going to change, owning a horse isn't a hobby, it's a way of life. Enjoy!

Massive congratulations! My horse arrived on Tuesday night and I still feel sick with excitement/nerves! I too had a long search and a few failed vettings and it is the pits so I completely sympathise, I haven't quite realised yet that it has actually happened...

I second the cry for photos, that's the rule for new horse posts!
