My young boy has had a lovely christmas break along with me....he went back to his usual get up time this morning of 06.30....compared to the 0800 - 08.30 over christmas.....he was hilarious, he could bearly open his eyes, was laid down fast asleep, all he did was yawn constantly at me....I sat on the floor with him rubbing his head and he fell back to sleep on my knee (he is a big 16hh2 ish x tb, 4yo).....in the meantime my 29 yo next door was bursting to go out....!!!! Had to start taking his rug off whilst he was lying down and it was ony when he felt the warmth go....he eventually got up!! Anyone else with a lazy baby like mine and what do you do to get him up in the morns??

Need to put some piccies on of my two...will get round to this!! x

I had to wake my boys up the other day, had a 5.30 start, they were all lying down asleep, blinking at me and were mighty peeved at being awoken so early. Had to agree with them 5.30 is a silly time of the day!!!

my boy was woken up at 6.30 this morning he has been having lie ins during xmas so was not to pleased to be dragged out to the field this morning.

There is a lady on my yard who gets up there at about 5.45am every weekday inc. during the hols so my poor horses get woken up at that time as she feeds the whole yard at that time

Nope, mine hears my car and is peering through the door at me by the time I've walked across to him lol. I used to catch him sleeping sometimes, but once his breakfast was put in, he soon woke up!

yep breakfast puts the buzz back into my 2 if they aint waking up when food pops over the door there is something wrong!!!hahaha
