i cant get transport so do u think i would be able to walk him? hes not lame and his leg is scabbed up(take some pics to show) only thing is its about 6-7 miles from his yard. got no other option

god i should just sell him i think

Well, you can hire transport. But as your vet has advised box rest - I would say, no you can't walk him that distance.

Have you tried calling around tack shops etc - I needed transport urgently once, and the lady who owned the local tack shop offered to move my horse for me.

Think you shouls seek legal advice about this ym because if he or she can just get you blacklisted like that god knows what they will do when you finally sod off. Can your vet not recomend anyone to move you as its quite a long way to new yard?

The transport people round your way must be bl**dy stupid, if they are willing to turn down money on someone else's word. I would ask your vet for advice on moving him. Do you not know anyone at all locally with a box or a trailer who might be willing to help (or even a friend of a friend?).

Whereabouts are you based? would help then people on here can suggest businesses? What about a self drive box? if you can find someone old enough/correct driving license to drive it.
