Walking on frogs

I think the farrier has cut beauty's hooves too short, her frogs/heels are in tatters. What can I do to make her feel better ? I am currently applying cooling gel and hosing.

Put the horse on a deep shavings bed for starters, that will make it a little more comfortable, then get him back out to explain what/why he has done this.

I have already put her on a deep bed and farrier is back out tommorow at first I thought that her frogs were just flaking because its wet but she looks uncomfortable
