We seem to have strayed from dogs to humans.
Edited to correct name of the disease.
My sister, a keen netball player, developed a lump on her knee at secondary school. Osgood Schlatter disease. Due to sport.Human skeletons dont fuse till we are teenagers, yet kids play sport, use stairs, jump around, compete in sports. You dont ever hear anyone saying kids shouldnt be climbbing stairs or playing rough games. Its accepted that exercise is not just good, but needed for healthy bones and development.
