Brrrr! I'm in Cambs, just made it home before the snow started in earnest this evening! Glad you managed to get to them and back safely.

Hi. I got halfway to the yard in the car this morning and then had to walk two miles, the postman crashed into our land rover two weeks ago and it's still being mended! It was a nice walk, will be doing it again tomorrow!

Hi l can`t get the car out so the last two days have had to walk the two and half miles to the yard. Today it seemed to take ages as it was very hard to walk although the dog is lovin having all these walks lol.

Luckily we have a land rover so have been using that to get about! I have walked a couple times and that takes around 1 hour but the horses wouldnt be too happy if they werent fed!

I just about managed to drive to the yard this morning although it was a very scary drive. I did leave the car at the pub car park at the end of the lane to the yard and walked the last bit. I phoned 1 of the other liveries to tell her to not even bother trying to get there as she lives quite a bit further away so did her 2 horses for her, as well as another liveries I'd already agreed to do. By the time I'd finished sorting out these 4, didn't seem worth even trying to get home so helped YO finish mucking out. (Yard is primarily a riding school and YO was on her own with 24 horses to do.)
Killed time fiddling about doing bits n pieces and sorting out the muck heap, before putting the horses to bed a bit earlier than normal. Luckily, road was slightly better on the way home, but can see it being twice as bad tomorrow!
