Wall-eye query - anyone know what this is?

My boy has this black half-moon on his blue eye. It was spotted by the vet who did his vetting a few years ago and marked it on his vetting, but didn’t seem overly concerned about it and it hasn’t changed shape or size but I was just wondering if anyone knew what it was?

It doesn’t seem to cause him any problems so I’ve not really thought much about it but curiosity just got me today.

Looks like simple pigment to me. Not a worry.

I think it just happens with part blue part brown eyes, this was mine, never caused any problems

Ah thank you! I just looked at his vetting notes and the vet made it seem like he was going to go blind in that eye eventually - good to know it’s nothing to worry about

My sister's little welsh had a part blue eye, just pigment.
