I am struggling to find what I want. Previously had a wall kicker and and got some foamy/eva mats that were a couple of inches thick and really cushioned the blow and silenced the racket. Quite a few years ago and there where from Ebay.

Now have another wall kicker !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I can't find these mats anymore. I can find the Arkmats and Easimats described as EVA but the old ones I had were much more foam like and thicker. As well as protect the stable I am mostly looking to protect his legs.

Anyone point me in the right direction? Please.

PS I know about Quitkick but this seems to be an involuntary one lash out with a back leg type thing.

Thank you all.

We have a mare on our yard who does the same in the wall separating her from another mare. The owner put some polystyrene sheets within a thick tarp and suspended it on a rope. It worked a little better but the hoof was still penetrating though and kicking although the noise was a lot less.

I work at a farm store and sell quatrosoft mats. They are foamier than rubber mats. You could try a farm shop see if they have them. I just put normal rubber mats on mine but I don’t have kickers

My friends and my horse were avid walk kickers , my stable is lined with mats however since they have been operated on for ocd in the stifle ( mine was never lame never lame just behaviour issues led to the diagnosis ) the wall kicking for both horses has completely ceased and bear in mind they are also on box rest .

Both horses behaviour and demeanour has completely changed to a lot more chilled , so I will always be suspicious now of any box kicker that a potential pain aspect is involved .

Can’t help with the mats sorry as I did not source mine , the once I have are very thick , light and large ( have used 7 in my box and it’s a large standard size ) cost me £50 each , so they are out there hope someone here can point you in the right dire
