Have to ask ,you say he is tb x irish draught? And yet you state that he has raced twice?
He must be full tb with a wetherbys passport if he has raced...i don't think there is any ID blood in there if that is the case?
However he looks a useful sort, and i wish you both well.

Hi marlyclay have to say when we went to see him we couldn't see much Irish draught in him ourselves! However we do have a wetherby passport for him full race history and a letter from Donald McCain were he is from ! So in really puzzled by this. He did only race twice tho x

from this i can only guess he's an irish tb or a tb from ireland, or irish bred...someone must have been on the draught ale if they told you he's tb x ID and raced;-)
Interestingly tho, your gorgeous boy is the spitting image of my Walter in the 1st pic especially!mine is a tb x id Jumbo line who I bred from my irish tb mare (mare raced)..expect my Walter is rising 4 and his leg markings are the same as yours but stop a little lower!!!admittedly mine only has incredibly watered down on the ID part of his breeding something like 15/16ths and you can't see it appart from in his character at times in his lovely sense of humour.

hope you have tonnes of fun with him..tb's are the best breed ever!

Horses only have to be 7/8th TB to race legally in the UK. So he could be 1/8th Irish Draft and still have raced. He'd then be registered in the Weatherby's Non-Thoroughbred register.

A lot of French bred horses are not 100% TB.
