wanted horse on loan in northamptonshire

I am looking for a horse on full/part loan within 8 miles radius of wellingborough, northamptonshire. looks age etc are all immaterial and i dont mind if they have any 'quirks' so why cant i find anything....? Ive ridden all my life, have competed at all the major county shows in mountain and moorland classes. Ive owned and ridden horses for the past 26yrs until 3 yrs ago when i moved here from brighton.... I can offer lots of love and would like my two sons aged 6 and 9 to also be able to come and spend time with the horse, as they have done prior and thoughrally enjoyed poo picking the field ! Infact id consider a pony for them to learn with instead of a horse for myself but again, theres nothing!!! My 9yr old has aspergers syndrome and adhd and adores horses. I dont want to compete anymore, i just want to give lots of attention and enjoy our time together... Surely someone has something out there that we can help with...????
 
theres a 14.2 grey gelding, novice ride, listed on preloved at the min- think its stabled at one of the bramptons, however maybe possible to move on full loan.

Have a look at my albums to see what I have. Lovely coloured connie X cob who just needs backed! Little mule who has been driven in the past - loads of character. Pony currently with me temporarily until new home found - needs adult to keep him on track! :D

Snoozinsusan if it doesn't work out with the OP feel free to PM me. I think I must be fairly local to you and am always in search of horsey contact when I'm back from university. I've spent the last 3 months working at a polo and racing yard so I'm going to miss not riding every day whilst at university and during holidays!
I'm totally flexible so if you're ever in need of an extra pair of hands let me know :)

I thought Kim was deserting me after helping with my neddies since May last year. Then I noticed that I replied and the thread is ancient. :D

Kim has been an invaluable help to me. Just shows how effective the forum can be.

Love you Kim and I'll lock you in the stable if you ever think of leaving. :p (Just think of the rats and bogey men you'd have to put up with!)

I feel that we could really do with a 'proper' place to advertise for loans & shares on here.

If anyone's looking for a horsey fix near Bicester, i've got a 14.1 cob that's looking for love..........

I agree, most other forums seem to have a dedicated place...I guess Horse and Hound doesn't want to lose out on potential paying adverts though! :rolleyes:

Hello!
My name is Sofia and I'm 16 years old.

I'm looking to help out with someone's horses to develop my knowledge and improve my riding.

I've been riding for around 2 years and I'm looking to develop my riding skills, particularly jumping, by riding more often.
I have been looking after horses on and off for quite a few years now so I am very capable of all of the everyday tasks, grooming ect but I am keen to develop my knowledge even more.

Ideally, I am looking for somewhere close to Finedon where I can help out mostly at the weekends and possibly evenings as I am currently studying for my A levels.
