Dear all,
I am new to this site and this whole horse-owning game.
I have reached the age of 35 (tomorrow, actually), and have finally managed to save up the money and find myself in the right circumstances to buy and own a horse. I worked in a yard a long, long time ago, but it was a working riding school, and I have since found that that is a completely different ball game!
I have the knowledge somewhere, but it's buried deep within the recesses of time! I seem to spend most of my time at the moment trawling the web for answers to what are really simple questions! Would anyone be happy or willing to be a mentor whom I can contact by email or otherwise when I have a question, but can't find the YO to badger where the horse is currently residing?
I live in Yorkshire, work fulltime, have a 5 yr. child, and two jack russells - but please don't hold that against me!
