I have a Mark Todd Medium weight turn out rug that I've never used ( was donated from a friend) that is missing the tail flap, its a blue checked rug and quite nice looking, but because its missing the tail flap I don't use it.

Aparently they stopped making these rugs with detachable tail flaps because people kept loosing the tail flap.

So my question is.. Does anyone know where I can get one? (have tried various tack shops etc), or do you have one lurking in your tack room unused unwanted that I could buy off you?

I asked my local tack shop for a quote to get a new tail flap put on, but the forgot to ask the clean/repair lady.. also note they have had one of my rugs that went in for cleaning/repair in April and its still not been repaired.. so kinda don't really want to send this rug to them

I'd just use it without one!
My sec a is an expert at removing tail flaps, i used to get them repaired but have given up now!
Otherwise i'd get a spare tail flap from an old rug and sew it on/take it to a repair place for them to do it for you.
Mark Todd rugs are lovely so it's a shame not to use it for the sake of a tail flap.

No i wouldn't think so, if its wet and windy they blow up anyway, as long as your leg straps/fillet string are fitted properly the rug will keep her warm enough
