Wanted Whippet / Whippet x / Lurcher

Hi all !

Hope you don't mind me posting here, my partner and I are looking for a whippet or cross type pup. I am checking the regular KC sites too but 'word of mouth' is best.

We're based in the South West but happy to travel.

Look at the Forever Hounds website, they rescue lurchers, whippets and greyhounds, have loads of sites in the South West and are a great rescue, offering lots of support if you have issues. They often have puppies, a neighbour's rescued 3 whippet puppies from them and we had a 6 month old lurcher (whippet x ?) from them.

zandp, I have a rescue from ForeverHounds, great rescue. Had her for 12 years greyhound/ whippet cross. They have always kept in touch.

you could have a look at lurcher link rescue. if you pop to the chat page and ask the question i am sure someone would help you out.

i will pm the name of the lady who runs the small rescue i got my most recent 2 from - she often gets pups in.
