Hi, I am looking to buy a second hand jumping or xc WOW saddle, possibly a dressage too. Ideally a competitor style with a shallow/xc seat and small knee blocks but will consider anything. Any ideas?

There's a few on ebay at the moment.

Personally I'd rather ride on an inflatable dinghy as you would get about the same amount of contact with the horse...

Haha, thanks, I've been looking on ebay, not really the style I'm after on there.

We are all entitled to our opinions but I'm not sure Francis would have won a world cup qualifier on a rubber dinghy!

Have you actually had a demo? They are very complex, with many options, and you would be well advised to get an idea of what your horse needs and what you are comfortable with before you buy secondhand. I bought my first one new and the second one second hand, once I knew what I needed.

PM me the seat size, panel size, panel type etc you are after

I wasnt saying it isnt what you want or need!

Just you need to be sure of the spec you need first.

If you know what you need in terms of spec then keep an eye on ebay but it took me nearly a year to get one that was close enough to be worth buying. I had to get the panels and headplate changed but was still a lot cheaper. The other thing you could try is emailing the wow dealers stating wht you are looking for and seeing if they have a secondhand one available similar to what you need.

Guess you are really asking, has anyone got one they want to sell? LOL!!! You are not having mine!!! So there!!!

Sorry dozziesmummy didn't mean to sound defensive! Yes I'm looking to buy one but can't afford a new one on grooms wages! Keep an eye out for me!
The wow dealers tend to give their sponsored riders the demo jobbies

Thanks Weezy, will do, I need to check sizes at the yard tomorrow and I'll send you a message.

I will be selling off a deep seat in black two...and possibly some fixed block jumping (my friend is trialing them atm so she may go for them...but if not they are available)

If anyone else is about with a flat/xc seat then i am all ears as well

I forgot to say JanVanG i have dressage flaps for sale if you are interested (available now) in Black giant fixed block.

I would not actually say they are that much heavier than a normal saddle with the new headplate in.

BTW they are trialling a new carbon fibre headplate, even lighter and stronger than the magnesium alloy one.

Also if anyone has a brown XC/flat seat in a size 1 that they want to rehome let me know.
