wanting him to be grey... not green

my best friend has got a grey horse. we are taking him to a show on saturday. 2 weeks ago we took him to a show, we washd him on the friday and left him rugged up over night. we did change his bedding etc. when we got back to him early in the morning we found that he had a massive poo stain on his neck and loads on his belly and legs.
my friend has now got a head and neck cover as we are going to heva to plait him the jight before for this show.
does anyone have any tipos to stop him getting poo stains overnight, and getting grass stains off completly? :confused:

Use lots and lots of shine spray!

It usually coats the hair and so if he lies in poo it dosent soak into the hair it tends to sit on top of it. So you can brush it would or give him a quick wash where he's mucky and it will come out really easily.

Oh the joys of owning a grey...
 
Fairy liquid, the blue one is good and lots of scrubbing, then rinse, then I use a stain remover (for horses) then I final rinse with fairy liquid, wash throughly... Soak naughty areas in showsheen or other similar product and hope for the best!!

Alternatively you could sleep in the stable with him and pick up poos as he does them!!

ok, i know my friend has got some of that in her grooming kit :) he'll also smell lovely after using it too :D

ok, will have to go and buy some :) we have got the cowboy magic, but it just made the stain spread when we wiped it off :( his legs are going to be covered in showsheen then :)
thats a brilliant idea :D might just have to do that
