I just watched war horse for the first time :D :D :D
I'm trying to find the words that express how I feel but there are so many I'm a bit lost lol
Amazing,heartbreaking
Just wow wow wow
Sorry for this pointless post lol but I just had to share :D
A few tears were shed too :p

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Found the film a bit slow to be honest and was a little bored at the beginning. I do have a voucher for 2 tickets to see the stage show, and am hoping to book up and go springtime.

I thought the book was better than the film too. I was an emotional mess when reading it, but not so much watching the film - thought it was a little too 'Hollywood' in style.

On the other hand I cannot watch black beauty at all - any part of it has me in floods of tears!

The stage production is stunning. You forget the horses are puppets. Took 2 boxes of tissues and used them all especially when Topthorn dies
Haven't seen the film and don't plan to as it cannot come close to the play

Book soon. You can't get 2 seats sat together for months.

I got my ticket at 2 weeks notice but that's because I'm the sort of weird person who goes to the West End on her own.

It's amazing and worth the weight and the puppetry is incredible.
