its amazing at the theatre but remember your tissues!!! i would love to go see it again, i think i could watch it on rerun for days!

There was a documentary on the History channel (I think!) a few nights ago about War horse, featuring Michael Morpurgo and also witness accounts and footage of horses in World War one and two. It was good, if it is on again I recommend a watch to anyone who can.

Have read the book too

Not much of a reader, but I think thins was the first book I ever finished. Read it in secondary school first, and still reading it all the time. A definate read for all horse lovers!!!

Went to see it a couple of weeks ago, even made OH cry! It was brilliant, every so often in a quiet bit you could hear the whole audience crying! They did put the lights up a bit quick at the end though, I could have done with a couple of minutes to dry out! Well worth the money!

I've seen it at the theatre and ditto the tissues. I didn't even make it across the road before I started welling up, there's an amazing poster on the outside of the theatre where the soldier is cradling the horses head in his lap!! Sob, sob!
