Sorry if this has been on before but anyone seen Warhorse. I went this afternoon and couldn't believe how life like the horses are, it was a fantastic performance but did make me cry. I was warned it would be sad but told it had a happy ending, they were right but I cried more at the happy ending than at the sad bits.
If anyone is thinking of going I can highly recommend it.

Watched a bit when it was on the Paul O'Grady show was only a few minutes and I was bawling my eyes out, I would so much like to go and see it, definatly on my christmas list.

Quickfire you must go but take plenty off tissues with you, the saddest bit for me is that this really happened to horses in the war.

The only good thing is that horses are never likely to have to go to war again.

There is one scene of two horses playing in the field this is so brilliantly done they have captured completely how horses move and you do forget they are not real.

Knowing me I would need an extra large box of Kleenex Man size lol possable two boxes. As I said before when I saw them on P O'G the movments that the puppeters (sp) did were amazing and so life like, I know that they are on at dury lane, can I ask how much the tickets were? I know it would be such a trec from the south west and would have to make a weekend of it, but i think it would be so worth it.

I paid about £50, we were right at the back but it didn't matter as it is not a huge theatre and you could see everything.

Not sure how long it is on for but I think they have extended it as it has been so popular.

I agree because it's a modern theatre there doesn't seem to be any bad seats. There aren't any pillars or anything to get in the way. Well worth the roughly £50 per ticket.

I read the book and bawled my eyes out. The saddest thing for me was that it was true for so many horses, they gave their best in awful conditions and were then sent for slaughter. Dispicable.

It is incredible!!! What I couldn't believe was when I got in the lift afterwards, these people said that they thought it was terrible and couldn't understand how people could get so emotional about it. I was appalled I tried to explain to them that we have horses and... how do explain it? Turned out they didnt have horses. But still, plenty of people who dont have horses enjoy it!

I saw it last Christmas and loved it

Had read the book before and was wondering how on earth they would create it on stage but the way they've captured the horses is incredible, so so lifelike. There is also a tank on stage at one point!

I really would recommend it to anyone
