Ok so I may be officially the coldest blooded person in the history of horsewomen and am always and I mean ALWAYS cold

Can anyone recommend some really warm footwear suitable for riding and yard duties? Be extremely grateful for any advice. Thanks!

I got some of these from your horse live and they are so warm and feel like you are wearing slippers they are that comfy (I am not exagerating at all

), they are all furry inside and have reflective bits on the outside so are good for hacking. They are quite chunky but really really warm. The sizes are generous but they cost more for sizes 6+

My mountain horse muckers are cosy. Thermolite all round incl toes. not had cold feet since wearing them.

i would wear extra thick socks but my feet are big as it is - don't want to have to buy next size up and have clown feet

Vicm2509 - those are the ones I'm thinking of getting - are they comfy to ride in? Do you school in them too or just hack?

I have the Woof long boots that vicm2509 suggested, they are incredibly warm and comfortable and mine have lasted me ages, great value for money! The only thing I would say is that in my opinion they are only really any good for working on the yard and hacking, because the calf is padded I do not get enough "feel" in my leg for serious schooling if you know what I mean?! Also, they are quite short in the leg and sometimes the top of the boot gets caught under the bottom of the saddle flap depending on which horse I am riding.

Equitector! They have transformed me into being utterly miserable riding out in winter to not even thinking about having cold feet. They use the most amazing lining that really does keep your feet toasty warm. (and no I dont have anything to do with the company!)

I'm always frozen!

Bought the Tyne Muckboots (riding ones with heel) last year and they were the best buy ever. Doesn't matter what the weather, I'm never cold.

I only use them in winter and they live in my car so always to hand. Hopefully they'll last a couple more years.
