I suffer from poor circulation and need a really, really warm pair of boots for riding in. I'm only 5'2" and a size 6 so most long boots dont fit me as the bigger the foot, the longer and wider the leg.
Can anyone recommend some good short boots that I can team up with chaps or gaiters.

Many thanks.

When I went back to college I bought a pair of the mountain horse protective jodhpur boot (steel toe cap and shank supporting foot). Because of the way they are made, they kept my feet warm the whole year round and was gobsmacked at how toasty they kept them in the winter and how well they actually lasted......have a pair of Ariat bromonts which are great too but not sure if Ariat do a short thermal boot? Good luck

Yep another vote for the Mountain Horse Protective Rider boots, I have had both the Protective Jodhpur (no laces) and Protective Rider (laces) and have to say they are soooo toasty!! My feet were toasty last night with 1 pair of cotton socks on

(and I have poor circulation too, am always cold!!).

The Protective Riders are very chunky, but I've got a pair of leather half chaps and they fit snugly, really supportive and warm

Hi,

I have the same problems with circulation and I love my Ariat Terrains. They're short boots with laces and the only boots my feet never seem to be cold in. I'm on the lookout for long boots now

Hope you find some to keep your toes toasty
