I remember seeing a post recently about boot recommendations but cant find it, so sorry for asking again.
Im after some waterproof boots, must be insulated and not cost the earth as I will be gutted walking through the muddy fields in them :D
Seen the MH snowy riders and Ariat H20 Coniston but both are over £200 and would prefer to go £150 max if possible. Prefer leather but main thing is they keep my feet warm and dry as I have Raynauds and feel the cold.
Thanks in advance.

I know this isn't what you're looking for, but I adore my ariat conistons! I have skinny calves and they don't leave a big gap, they are ridiculously warm, I wear them to walk the dog, muck out, ride and wade through muddy fields! A quick wash off and leather balm and they're smart enough to wear to the pub (if that's ever allowed again!). I used to have toggi Calgarys which were also nice but not quite as warm, and I only ever got two years out of each pair, a little cheaper though!

I may have to bite the bullet lol. I usually get a 5.5 in Ariat, Im a 6 usually, are these the same, only asking with them being insulated.

I have Rhinegold elite Brooklyn boots and I really like them! They’re not sold as waterproof but I use them to walk through deep mud and have no issues, I’ve even tipped out water buckets over them and they’re fine. Their waterproof style is the elite Vermont boots, which look nice but I’ve not got any personal experience of them.

I’ve had mine for over a year now And they’ve been fab, so it’s worth a look!

ETA: the Harlem boots are even more similar to the Brooklyn boots, so that’s another option.

Over budget but I love my ariat grasmeres. I do find they last for years, so work out cheaper in the long run than buying cheaper boots that don’t last very long.

I'd pick your usual (non ariat!) shoe size, I'm usually a UK 8, so wear a 7.5 in their heritage contour boots and an 8 in the conistons
