Hi
Can anyone recommend a pair of long waterproof warm winter boots suitable for yard & riding for a child? Size 2 - 3ish, so not tiny, but skinny little legs so I need something fitted. Something like ariat grasmeres but without the price tag! (don't mind paying once her feet stop growing!) The Mountain horse rimfrost riders look good but I don't seem to be able to get hold of them.
Thanks!

I bought the woof wear long mucker boots for my daughter. Shes 6 and has skinny legs. The fleece lining keeps her feet warm and she can ride in them too. The only thing is the top part isnt totally waterproof but seem to do the job. I have a pair too and they are quite comfortable for walking round yard etc.

I also agree with woof wear boots- warm, comfortable, and adjustable because of the straps too! Great for riding in as well :)

I have a pair that are worn around the yard but I don't ride in them - I have heard about feet getting caught in stirrups ? (I think Velcro straps got caught) so please be careful if ridling in them

Thanks for all the advice.. in the end I bought her some Just togs muckrukers, which are perfect - warm, waterproof and safe to ride in. I had looked at the woof wear ones, but having seen a friend of hers hopping round with her foot still in the stirrup after a fall, decided to go for some that are smooth soled. She loves them.
