Does anyone please have any suggestions for a pair of wellies keep your feet really warm? (Preferably without spending too too much!) I'm on a farm as well as with my horse in mine and my feet are really suffering this winter!

A friend of mine recommended neoprene fishing socks. Let's just say I haven't looked back! I had neoprene lined Sherwood Forest Wellies that were really comfy but broke! Now has £10 dunlops with my cosy socks :D

Had muck boots for years which were always warm, treated myself to Aigles this year & so far they're amazing! Friend had some rubbish neoprane boots a couple of years ago barely lasted a few months, they were rok/Rock? boots.

Second the neoprene lines ones - the Caldene ones are only about £60 and mine are 12 months on and still going strong, I live in them for most of the day. Add a pair of fleece liners when it is really really arctic but not sure they are really needed.

I have the Caldene ones as well. I'm really pleased with them so far. I've had them six months and my normally cold feet haven't been cold yet. They are mega comfy too.

Grubs Frostline for me. The best wellies I have ever had. I suffer really badly from cold feet & these have kept me really warm. Best money I have ever spent. :-)

I have a pair of neoprene lined Seeland Allround wellies which I love. Super warm, but not bulky at all and so comfortable! I wear them all year round as well. I have had them for about 2 years now and they still look good as new when I clean them up. Think I got mine in a sale at Mole Valley for about £30, but I think they are usually around the £65-70 mark. These are the ones I have - (http://seelanduk.co.uk/products/seeland-products/footwear/allround-18-4mm-boot.html)
My mum has a pair of aigle wellies which she likes but finds them a little bulky as they have a super thick sole and so always wears my Seelands if I am not using them.

I wear basic cheap wellies with no issues, its in the socks I find :) a pair of heat holder thermal socks and welly socks and I never get cold feet ever

Aigle Parcours ISO. Mine are on their 6th winter and still going strong. I wear them for around 12hrs per day and they're warm, comfy and good grip in the ice/snow.

very interested to see the recommendations - have given up on Hunters - they used to last for ages even though I wore them 10-12hours a day - now they last 6 weeks before cracking at the sides if lucky: this has happened with each of my last 6-7 pairs at least - thankfully this last time the internet shop were happy to refund me as Hunter just are NOT interested in customer service or feedback and refused to acknowledge the faults. Then I bought WoofWear muckers - thinking - great warm, dry feet - no chance. They absorb humidity up through the soles so at the end of the day, yet again cold wet feet. Woofwear took them back to test them (so costing me a fortune in postage from France) but said - no - no problem - that they flexed them in water for 24 hours and no water. Really bizarre as when I got them back and tried them again on a damp morning... and within no time, again wet feet! Just to make sure that years of manure heap fumes haven't made me go gaga I got a friend to try them (after I'd dried them out) and guess what - wet feet she had too! Woofwear said I must have spilled water in them when carrying buckets (think I'd have noticed that). So I'm having to wear my Dublin River boots in wet muddy conditions which will wreck them but at least my feet are dry. Very interested in welly recommendations - so off to search internet to find some. Makes me wonder how Hunter could make good wellies in the 80s but not now - is it so we buy more pairs more often at higher and higher prices. Wouldn't mind as much if they were made in the UK but they're not. I'd also be interested if anyone can recommend good 'alternative leather' boots to replace my leather ones. I'm trying to cut out all leather after having seen how much dog and cat leather is used these days after the torture of these poor animals in Asia. I'd love to find a company that makes cruelty free equestrian stuff for horse and rider.

Have had 2 pairs is Seelands, very warm and comfy BUT both pairs leaked within 6 months. Now have Aigle Parcours and can't recommend them enough, they're warm and comfy and have walking boot style support around the foot and ankle (brilliant for me as have a weak ankle following an accident and could never walk very far in wellies without my ankle hurting due to lack of support) so can walk the dog miles in comfort. They are pricey but IMO totally worth it.
