WARM welly recommendations please?!

I had a pair of muckboot Tack last year and although very warm, my feet were always wet due to the lack of breathability which wasnt a problem till i took them off to change boots, then would have to change socks too! Also i wore the soles out within a few months and had no grip whatsoever!

So, i need some other suggestions of WARM wellies but with more durability please!!
 
ive just bought a pair of £13 ones from ASDA (george), and a pair of thermal socks (longs)

I rode in them/mucked out in them - up the field etc - they are WARM, comfy and immaculate (the mud slides off them unlike others ive had in the past!)

named./expensive are not always the best imo!

Ditto this. I just got normal wellies and then found a pair of welly liners/warmers from my local garden shop hunting department. They are fleece and so warm and comfy. Even stick them in my cheap riding boots now!!
 
Le chameau do the ladies 38 inch calf but also a 41 inch and a 43 inch which are huge, my OH has the 41 inch and he can fit jeans and padded over trousers inside his.
They are amazing.i have the neoprene lined ones and they are toasty warm. Love them!
 
I've been looking at Muck Boot Tynes... mixed reviews and can't find a size 6 for love nor money!

My friends has a pair of ariats and swears by them... unfortunately, I have a limited budget so £60 max!

yup :)

i even prefer riding in them compared to my nice leather ones (my toggi ones are back at toggi hopefully being repaired!)

for the third time......:rolleyes:
 
Another vote for ariat mudbusters, best boots I ever owned..!! Well sturdy and warm..!! Your in luck as I am pretty sure they cost £50 so within your budget...!! :-)
 
I've just bought a pair of these:

£40 from a shop in town, really easy to get on and off, plenty of room for layers and yesterday I was out in -2c with a thin pair of socks on and didn't get even slightly chilly toes (mind you the rest of me was blurry freezing :D).

Not sure how long they'll last but for £40 worth a punt and they 'seem' pretty durable.
 
Don't get Saddlemasters from the Saddlers, they are lovely and comfy with a strap at top but don't last and are only guaranteed 6 months (they last about 7 before they split)!
 
I love my Muck boots. Warm and incredibly comfortable BUT the little grip there was soon wore out and I spent a lot of last winter sitting on my bum in the snow or the mud!! :( So this winter I am going for the ones with the heavier tread. Not sure what they're called but cost around #55. (That should be pounds but the key doesnt work haha)
My daughter has a pair of what she calls 'the poor man's Le Chameaux'. They cost #70 and she loves them but they are a bit too narrow for me
