All ours are out without rugs. Been too hot and muggy to start rugging any up. Leave my mare as long as possible without rugs as she's out 24/7 in winter so needs a good thick coat.
It is august, it is very muggy it's very warm...15 degrees here, so why would you want to rug?? not getting at anyone on here, BUT i have seen a horse at the yard in a MW turnout because it's forecast to rain....WTF are they going to do come winter?????? Personally i think over rugging is worse than under rugging....imagine having to sit in a big warm overcoat in this weather......and don't even get me started on the amount of rugs some show ponies wear...
