Thanks - his dad is black with white socks and a blaze, but I think it's anyone's guess at the moment!

Yep - that's black (or possibly VERY dark brown) but black would be my bet!

He's got that typical end of hair silver dusting/sheen going on, that many foals have who then go black - I used to work with one that called Ghost due to this - she went jet black.
