Hi All
I could really use some help, I have a beautiful rising 2 year old warmblood who is an absolute sweetheart! I want to do some in-hand showing with him this year, his sire & siblings have been champions in the In-hand arena, but I just want to have some fun with him and get him used to being on a show ground. Only problem is I have absolutely no showing experience, so my question is how do I turn him out? Plaited mane with pulled tail? Plaited tail? And what do I wear? These will only be local shows, nothing serious just something or us to have a bit of fun with, but I still want to do justice to this beautiful boy! Please help!

You could do a led hunter class locally. Plait him, pull his tail, trim him if needed. Nice plain bridle to suit his head.

All you need is a hacking jacket, plain trousers, jodi boots, shirt/tie. I would top it off with a beagler hat and hair in a net, plain gloves and leather cane.

Have fun.

Also put quarter marks on they can help emphesise or help make a hind quarter look bigger. There are plenty videos online which show you how. Then get practicing its not hard, even I can do it.

Thanks TodM! QM's will look great! SJ & ODE's are never this complicated, but dead excited about my first showing experience since being about 11 years old! Hehe!
