Warmblood Stallion - South West

Hi All,

I am looking for a warmblood type in the southwest to breed with a light weight shire mare with the idea of producing a good hunter type.

Any ideas or recommendations??

What about Zig Zag ?

He is KWPN by Concorde ... producing outstanding stock from all types of mares. He has qualified for 3 classes at HOYS, Foxhunter final, Grace C Championship & Newcomers.

Wouldn't use any other, to be honest... his temperament is to die, can safely be left with other horses.

Agree with above, Zig Zag is a lovely chap, doing well on the sj scene too. Such a shame James lost Zabantos, he was super.

Yes it was... had been planning to use him, but never mind things can go wrong so quickly with animals.

Zig Zag did well over the last 4 days at Chard... so proving his consistency. This is a stallion for the future.

Try Trevoulter Barton Stud, they have "Trevoulter Storm" a Dutch Warmblood X TB by Desmond (internation Grade A showjumper). He has already been put to a Shire mare and they produced a super filly (now 2yo) there are pictures on the website. He is a fantastic stallion.

Have a look at henryhorn's stallion, Harpers Bornival. She breeds him with ID types, and gets a very good RC type, always with a fab temperament.

Definitely agree with Zig Zag. Fantastic boy, temeperment to die for, it is a very sad loss for everyone who knew and loved Zabantos, he was such a star. Thankfully they have this years colt by him, who is also fantastic.
