Warmblood x TB - does anyone have one?

Photo bucket not working grrrr!!! Yes. Recently bought a coloured warmblood by sempers spirit out of tb race horse. Standing at 17 hands. Very talented. Off the floor in his dresssge. Poppet on the ground and such a character. But is definitely not a novice ride. Will bronc. very spooky under saddle and a hot potatoe to ride.

We had one who was by Stanhopes Diddicoy out of a very hot TB mare - I've always assumed that as Diddicoy had a very very laidback temperament, he was chose to try and "cool" the dam side!

Ours was tri coloured - one of the few actual coloured children of Diddicoy - 17.1 and a massive personality. Huge sense of humour, very bright and very enthusiastic about life. He always brought a smile to your face.

He moved well enough, had an underutilised scopey jump and just loved doing everything - we hunted him, as someone in his past had messed him up for competition type things - but he was a dude

Auslander looked after him for us for the last part of his life and she will attest to his sense of the ridiculous =D

I owned a Hanovarian x TB chestnut mare. She excelled at dressage and endurance but this nursery rhyme would describe her:
"When she was good she was very, very good, but when she was bad she was HORRID"!!!

I DO miss the big goon! He was a darling, even when he was driving me mad with his antics

I have a 7 yo wb x tb. Bought him last Aug. He is fab :D a brilliant jumper and although new to dressage as came from a jumping home, he is picking it up really well and definitely has the movement! I want to event him but he was very green when I got him so taking it slowly :) he was quite naughty when i first bought him and lacked ground manners, always good to ride though. This is sorted now and he is great!

Bottom photo is quite old
