What would be the warmest thing to use as dig bedding that’s washable, and preferably fairly quick drying?

Both labs do have waterproof beds, (think tuffies but cheaper because I thought they would get chewed! )
They are not that thick.
I was using old polypads as liners, an extra layer and easy to clean.
Also used old fashioned wool blankets but they are getting fluff everywhere and take a while to wash and dry.

Spud is getting old it’s getting colder and I want him warm over night.
Vet bed? A single bed duvet?
Memory foam?

I used opened-up sleeping bags for mine in the end…much like a duvet. It worked great!
Plenty of cushioning, damp paws dried off quickly so they were never damp beds all the way through the filling - and we are talking seriously mucky forest based dogs of mud and leaves and puddles daily.
They were fast to wash and dry - very quick turnaround cleaning them.
I also put those eva foam gym mats below the sleeping bag for extra cushioning in their large kidney shaped plastic beds that contained the deep fill sleeping bags.
They’re like a duvet - but have the fast dry polyester outing designed for camping, so more practical for dogs than an actual duvet.
I got fed up with blankets etc just staying damp and taking ages to dry after washing.

I have a single duvet folded in two on the top of my dogs bed I got a really nice brushed cotton duvet cover from Asda which is strong and washes up well when I wash it weekly

Electric heated pet pad or bed?
I have a snuggle safe thing you put in the microwave but it’s very small for a bigger dog. I also bought a few years ago a plug in heat pad for animals but someone chewed the armoured cable, didn’t get through to the actual wire but worried me a bit and I’ve not used it since.
Also there are no sockets near his bed and he’s a bit odd. That is where he sleeps, even if I move his bed to near a radiator he will then sleep where it used to be!

Are there other options?

Have a look at Flectabed. The beds reflect the animals heat back to them. I had one for a lurcher. The one I had the cover was sherpa fleece on one side and cotton twill on the other. The pad inside was like a duvet. I washed the cover and also washed the duvet.

Vet bed- I love the stuff, easy to wash and dries really quickly

Fleece blankets. Very cheap, wash and dry in minutes and Scout doesn’t eat them so they must be fairly indestructible
This is what I use I wash mine every week hoover them and they last ages, temu do some lovely thick mattress type ones and Aldi do some nice thick ones.

Although my dogs sleep next to the Aga so it's very warm but they still like a blanket.
