*WARNING* Beeston auction.

Why are people saying strangles is rife in Cheshire? I live in Cheshire, stable in Cheshire and haven't heard of a single outbreak in this area (until this instance at Beeston). It's certainly not at pandemic stage as some people seem to be suggesting.

THere are a few things in this story which don't ring true. How did the treatment cost thousands? Why would you not quarantine a newly bought animal? It all seems rather odd.

I know of one yard in Barthomley cheshire that currently has strangles and precautions/actions are being taken. I have no idea if it's related to Beeston.
However Cheshire is a large county and a bit if a sweeping statement from others saying its rife, there are approximately 10 yards around where I live and all them are clear.
