Please PM me for more details.

Recently bought a horse from a dealer in the South East. The horse is great so far but the tack package is not.

The saddle is not symetrical and is falling appart after 30mins light use. Bridle and stirups are starting to fall appart.

Also, information and personal experiences with a South East dealer if anyone wants any advice.

TBH It doesn't suprise me if the horse is from a dealer.
It's not uncommon I'm afraid. You can ask to change the saddle, but you'll probably get another worthless old saddle and if it actually fits the horse is another question. Or, ask if you can return the tack for a refund. IMO it might be best to get get your saddle from a qualified local saddler, and you can get a nice new or used bridle easily from loads of places.

i bought my horse from dealer but didt have tack for went ut and got my own. i would get a saddler out and get a well fitting one same for bridal n stirrups. saddle off dealer was proble a spar one he had. you now wht they can be like hope you sort the problem out good luck

my mum bought a horse from a dealer and thought she got a bit more of a bargain as the deal was tack included.

tbh though the tack was made more of some really poor quality indian leather - alost hand made i would say, it was a horrid colour, and the saddle didnt really fit.

needless to say when i ended up with him, i ditched the tack!! Actually binned it!!

That's why it is usually stupid to buy the tack the seller offers, be it dealer or private. they are often either rubbish or don't fit.

I have had a new one fitted by a saddler, and I do realise it was silly to buy a tack package off a dealer.

Just thought I'd warn others so they don't make the same mistake.
