*warning* graphic pic of what a bite can mean ...

Sending healing vibes Mrs.B. A friends horse once bit my ear over the stable door....probably swallowed my stud earrings with it! so it was detached from lobe to head & across bottom lobe so bit with ear piercings was flapping about & pouring with blood. My friend insisted on A&E due to the blood & flappy ear but i wouldnt go until I had sorted my horse out. Luckily the surgeon managed to stitch it back together....just have a scar there now so remember it every time I put different earrings in!

Ow, ow, ow! Just seen this, ES, and still wincing!!

Well, 3 days on and it's getting there ... it's a bit painful this evening, to be honest but I think because I soaked the dressing off today and possible (probably!) did a bit too much with it ... Hoping to get back on board on Thursday but schooling will have to wait for a while as don't want to bust it apart before it's had a chance to knit properly.
ETA, I think the surgeon did a cracking job under the circs!

That was an impressive chunk missing - totally agree, they've done a very nice job of closing that up and looks like it's healing nicely as well - you shouldn't get too bad a scar from it at all
