He looks loverly and perfectly healthy so you should just ignore these silly comments! 
My Shetland does wear a rain sheet simply because I think when it come down to it, there isn't much shelter and he looks much happier with his rug on than the other two shetlands he lives with whom have no rugs and are sopping wet? I think you just have to go on what works for your lil one and ignore silly comments from people who know nothing xx
