Yes I thought it was an alright appeal until the mention of dogs going to their deaths hungry and alone...true no doubt but a tad Daily Mail!
 
God, that's just horrible, why do people do things like that? It's just never makes any sense to me at all. I think Whitehall rescue do a pretty good job as, as far as i know, it is another small rescue that receives little funding. i think the 'compound' they refer to is the dog pound and maybe the RSPCA centres. That's what I assume. God that poor little dog. If it was alive when it arrived there, how awful it had to die alone. :-(

How utterly despicable. I suspect they dumped the dog at the rescue centre because they didn't know what to do with the body.
 
Poor wee beauty, look at his little eyes. Makes me so sad. I hope he's bounding free in heaven now with a belly full and loving friends around him. Best place for him now. Little angel.

And as for the cruel ******* that did that, they deserve a similar fate. There are so so many people who could have helped little Jack, but instead he was left to starve and die. Makes me sick.
 
I just cried looking at those photos. I just wish I could get my hands on the person who did that to the dog...preferably whilst my hands were holding a length of alkathene piping.
 
oh that is so disgusting...makes me feel sick that someone could do that to a helpless animal, he looks like such a sweet little thing as well :( At the very least they could have had him PTS if they couldn't afford to look after him properly- this clearly didn't happen in 5 minutes...he's obviously suffered for a long time :(:mad:

What makes his death worse is that in today's world it is so so easy to just ask for help.
There are so many people willing to help animals who need it without asking questions.
There's just no excuse, none at all.

You are so right. If someone came to me with that little wee soul and said take him off my hands, I would have had him cwtched up in a blanket eating chicken before anyone could say a word and I know a million of us here would too. There's no excuse for animal cruelty any longer, none at all.
 
Thats so sad! I wish I could help and give one of them a home but I just dont have the time with 2 jobs :( I love stella though.

Compound - they mean the council compounds not the RSPCA
 
I don't know whether I'm more angry or sad, actually I'm heartbroken for the poor little thing:(...the horrid b*****ds who caused this need shooting to many peple are getting away with crimes like this and sadly its seemingly getting more and more common. In my eyes its murder:mad:
i don't consider myself soppy but does bring lump to my throat when I see my dog lying on sofa opposite me.

God bless the poor little mite, hope he's in a better place now.
 
So very upsetting photo's.
I do not understand how anyone can do that, wheni think of my dogs that if i run out of food and shop is shut they have ham and stuff from the fridge.
Christ sake a tin of bloody dog food is next to nothing

RIP little guy, at least you'l live on in peace in the minds of those of have seen what happend to you. If only kind thoughts were enough to turn back the clocks.

Id starve before id ever allow my pets too. How on earth could people do that! Its not as if we are in a 3rd world country where help may be few and far between.
 
^^ same!! If I ever run out of food, my dogs have scrambled eggs and chicken breasts with rice til I can get to the shop and if that means they eat MY food - so be it!
 
wouldn't imagine that is was because someone couldn't afford to feed him, i'm sure if that was the case they would have taken him to a rescue long ago, being hard up doesn't make you evil, this is a sadistic act by someone who is dangerous.

hell on earth comes to mind :confused:
