*fidgets* As some of you know, OH collects his new Border Terrier pup Bear, on Thursday. :D

*shuffles feet* Only problem is it's now less thn 72 hours before Bear comes home, and I don't know who's more excited - me or OH!:o

*messes with hair* We went shopping for the wee chap this morning, and OH fished an old playpen out of the loft which a previous occupant left behind. We have puppy food, puppy toys, Tugg's old travelling box doubling as a bed to begin with, the aforementioned playpen, and assorted towels and blankets to choose from. As well as plastic plates rather than bowls to eat from during the early days.:D

*sighs* So now I need to know from you most knowledgeable people who frequent this forum - what more could a little puppy Border possibly need? Apart from the obvious - love, attention and possibly just a little more love?;)

Sorry! I did say it was a silly post!:o

A little dinky puppy collar and tag?

Puppy wee cleaning fluid?:D

I don't blame you for being excited:D

Looks like you've got it covered. Know just what you mean about the excitement. We had arranged to pick Evie up the day after we came back from our summer holiday, I have never before wished a holiday abroad to pass quickly.:D

*bounces in* :D Thanks, everyone! :D

I forgot to say last night that we also have a brush, a weeeeeeny collar, and a tennis ball wrapped up in an old sock (OH's are the best as he has huuuuuge feet!:o:eek:).

I've got the day off tomorrow, so we're off into town where I will investigate the possibility of a kong.:)

'Till the next instalment! lol :D

Sounds like you're sorted! I love the excitement of a new pup!
Do you have an alarm clock or radio by his bed (out of reach) that is meant to replocate Mums heartbeat and stoip him feeling lonely. It could help you get a good nights sleep!

Ooooooh another baby border!!
I have had mine a week and 2 days now. She destroyed one raggy toy in 2 days. She pulls your socks off your feet! I do not encourage this by the way, she is told to 'leave' but MiL thinks its cute and laughs at her! erghhh.

Wee cleaning fluid is a MUST, She thinks its a game however once the squirty bottle and rag come out. Start hoarding old newspapers now :)

*bounces in* (again!)

Just got back from town, having purchased a puppy kong and some wee cleaning fluid. Puppy kong is, erm, pink (nothing against pink, btw!), but for a little boy Border? I'm so so sure. OH dosen't seem to care, and as Bear is his dog, then I s'pose I should keep my nose out!:D

:D25 hours to go, and counting.....................:D:D

*bounces out* (again!):o
