Warning - slasher attacks in East Sussex

Hey all
Just letting you all know to be on the lookout.
A very good friend of mine has now had 2 of her top WH Connies slashed - one a week ago and the other today. The first one they were 'hoping' was some kind of wire accident (although could find no wire) which slashed in a spiral from his elbow down to mid cannon on a foreleg. The one today had a similar leg injury plus was also cut up the entire length of her stomach!!

Both ponies are going to be ok...don't know if the same can be said for their showing careers as we don't know if they going to be 100% sound yet but everyone be on the lookout for anything happening as this is in the East Sussex area.
 
that is disgusting...........hope the ponies get better soon.............we had, a good few years ago, near us boys who thought it would be funny to slash some riding school ponies and then pour paint on them the paint burnt them. i didnt get much sleep durin that time as had a horse on the livery section of the school, moved him as soon as i could. then a few years after that they thought would be funny to set barn full of hay and straw on fire, horses where stabled close to it luckly they where fine unlike the poor buggers that had there stables set on fire a couple of years ago (the second fire was in another location) some people need to be bloody shot
 
There has been several horses slashed here in northern ireland too, it was in one of the top riding stables that offer livery aswell. Several of the liveries were slashed, and the stables are trying to keep it hush hush.

Its a bit close to home for me too, as i know there was other horses slashed near the above stables.

My lot are so friendly that they would approach someone, even the foals! I feel a bit better that the yard has CCTV that has night vision aswell. Covers the fields, yard and stables
 
Very very close to home for me. Any more info greatly appreciated. God my poor pony... I dont know what Id do if something happened to him
