I have posted this in SW Forum but TR gets more traffic so thought I would post here too so as many of the relevant people see it as possible.
There has been a confirmed outbreak of strangles in Bugle in Cornwall. Shows are being quite rightly canceled and people are being urged to not travel horses unless they have to, to take steps to minimise the spread by ensuring that you wash/disinfect if you come into contact with a strange horse etc.
Its important that you know how to spot strangles and what steps to take to prevent its spread. The BHS has produced a really useful guide on this:
