.... once you let them off the lead rein THEY WON'T go back on!!!

Posted a thread last week about the show we went to and DD1 did the assisted jumping with pony just following me around.
PC rally on Friday completely off the lead rein apart from when she did het 1st ever intentional canter I insisted she be on the lead for that!
Went to a show yesterday and LR jumping was out of the question and no I can't run ahead either so she learnt course (only about 1ft) and went in a trotted around beautifully
with me just stood in the middle having a mini heart attack!
So proud of her! Here is a video of the jump off- which was a really horrid course as it was designed for the leaders not to have to run far- but they both did so well to get a double clear! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYRnx1inMvU&list=UU-oVlBldx-Huysk9tnrgqww&index=1&feature=plcp
(This week we'll be working on ring craft- not trotting straight to the gate etc and also on jumping position.)
Also earlier in the practice fence area they was trotting around and another pony bolted past her bucking and farting and for a second Ruby looked like she was off too so screamed at J to "sit up and make her HALT!!!!" and she did so - pony responded and I was able to breathe again- GOOD PONY!
5yo T did the Best Lead rein pony and came 6th and the Judge commented on what a tidy little rider she was so had HUGE smiles too- great day again- WELL DONE RUBY!!!
Ruby is the once closest ( the worlds 1st half plaited half hogged pony!)
