Kellys Heroes

I'm so made up with Kelly right now...
As some of you may know we've had the worst luck since April she's suffered seizures, lami (from stress of seizures) and then has been diagnosed with slight pedal bone rotation.
Cue a lot of vet visits and stress. We eventually took her off box rest, started walking her and to cut a long story short, eventually go back on her 29th July.
One very unfit but giddy horse!!
Our (ex) farrier shod her very badly
and set back her progress so we swapped farriers and found a fantastic guy who shod her exceptionally well and she started to slowly improve on her feet - then the farrier died very unexpectedly (RIP)
. He'd left a contact number should anything happen of another farrier for all the horses he left in his care.
He's due down for the first time tomorrow...which is lucky.
Because on Sunday she ripped one of her (expensive) shoes off!! Little sod.

BUT.

Aside from all this bad luck - (I'm now at uni for a few weeks, due home at weekend) I've been hearing stories about her - apparently, like riding a coiled up spring, bouncing around like an idiot, trying to tank off down the bridlepath with her owner.
Apparently bronced down the road the other week!!
She's sounding so well at the minute and she looked so well before I came away, so I can't wait to get back at weekend and ride her....
We're hoping for her first ridden canter so if the weather is decent and Kelly isn't footsore we're taking the girls on the field and letting them go (they've been waiting for this for WEEKS, poor Pebbles can't go because Kelly hasn't been able to!!)
Made. Up!!!!!!!!!
