As title. Our riding club spring show was hit today 
when a car belonging to one of our judges was broken into and items stolen. Turns out other local shows have also suffered in recent weeks so thought I'd post a reminder to all that sadly we must be more aware, especially if vehicles are "hidden" behind secretaries tents, etc. At least 3 different witnesses have said they saw a couple of "out of place" characters with a large black dog, and our photographer will check his photos to see if he has caught anything suspicious. Poor judge obviously very upset, her car is older and not alarmed and she was at the far end of our (committee) line of vehicles. Some of us (not me, lived in London for a while!) admitted to leaving bags visible and/or cars not being locked; the targeted car was locked and lock broken, so maybe they were disturbed, but could have had more. Sad fact of modern life but we can't be complacent. Slice of cheesecake for reading this far...
