I did that recently, to go on a waiting list for maybe next year. Bugger offered me a 5 month old now but sadly not the right time. I think nowadays its a perfectly acceptable approach.

Thanks MM 😊 It’s one of the few things I can’t ask my mum about as she doesn’t ‘do’ Facebook at all - but then she is 80 now!

I’d be incredibly tempted by a 5 month old.... far better than a pesky puppy to be honest..... but I know you are far more sensible than me 😊
