Was Sunday a jinxed day?

Hi everyone, I've been reading a few posts about eliminations and poor performances at various events on Sunday and I've come to the conclusion it was just one of those days!

My friend and I went to a Hunter Trial, she technically got eliminated at the start box and the same happened to me at the first fence (although the lovely organisers let us both go round), someone else I know went SJ and had a disaster and another friend had a fishing competition, landed a 7lb bream and then let it get away before he got it in the net!

Perhaps it was just a day to stay at home!

Definitely agree with this!

I got screamed at for no reason by an old dragon who's at that yard, and my horse then proceeded to fall over whilst I was riding. I have damaged all the ligaments and soft tissue in my foot, and horse is lame! Not a good day for staying at home either!

Nope, Sunday was a good day here. Mind you, it didn't rain.

Daughter took pony through ford (has avoided it since we got him, but has been shallow enough for the past 3 months), came 2nd in her first W&T dressage with 77%, met a lad there she rode with at the RS so they went on a hack down the bogey path past the RS ponies and shetlands in their fields without incident. This means she can now hack that way to see her friend. :D
