Hi All

I'm planning a new stable block (timber) and would like to include a wash room. What is the best lining?

I've seen a few that have rubbing matting on the walls and floor, but wondered if there was anything on the market that was better.

Thanks

Following as we are doing the same with timber stable. I was wondering about painting the inside with an outdoor wood paint to help preserve the wood. I did think about matting the bottom half but not sure how well I would be able to seal it and it it would get wet behind the mats then not dry out and rot. Interested in what other suggestions people have too

Thats my thoughts too, we recently had our shower lined. We used new type of panelling instead of tiles so thinking along those lines, but it might be expensive. Can't remember the name of it though. x

Look up whiterock (and equivalent products). We use it in construction for kitchens and shower rooms, i think we've put it in hospital theatres too. I don't know the price of it but it will certainly do the job. Otherwise I would look for vinyl or lino flooring but make sure you consider how any joints are sealed, if you get water trapped behind it rot will set in quickly.
