Washing grooming brushes!

How is it best to wash grooming brushes? I've just bought a new set and want to keep them nice and clean

Pop them in a pillow case and wash them in the washing machine they come up lovely

I put warm water in a bucket with some hibiscrub and leave them to soak then hose them off.

washing machine - no detergent though, just a quick wash at 60 degrees, gets all the grease etc off.

i put mine in a boiling bucket of water and washing powder. I let them soak overnight. The come up like new!! They actually have white bristles!

Hibiscrub everytime

I stick mine in the dishwasher, (shh dont tell OH). Give it a rinse cycle after, just incase of loose hairs!!

Works wonders tho.

I did mine today with some soap in our yard loo sink, may try the wasing machine next time though.

Thought I was the only person who stuck them in the dishwasher - along with my bits and stirrups - they all come up an absolute treat !
