Washing horsey things in your home washing machine!

My OH periodically complains when she finds horsey things in the washing machines.

Does anyone wash their own rugs? Does it need a larger machine?

After 42 years I dont plan on having to train another one so I will keep him he is a dab hand at nappy changing, entertaining toddlers and generally looking after me the kids and now grandkids. I used to work long hours when our kids were small so he took over a lot of the household stuff. He worked a normal 38 hour week but I worked up to 100 hours a week so it made sense. He is a great help with the ponies and while I have been away house and horse sitting for a couple of weeks he has done ours fed poo picked and general care. He also drives the horsebox for shows and sits and listens to the radio while we are competing He doesnt realise just how much he does for us all and he will also do the same for our friends. He often takes them off for lessons and competitions even if ours are not going and sits for hours waiting for them.
So I reckon I'll keep him sorry folks there are very few of him to the pound hes worth his weight in gold
