Hope you have now sorted out the problem(s), but be very careful when using these drain blocking liquids like Mr Muscle etc.
I used something else very similar to Mr Muscle but in a silver bottle (from Tescos) and followed directions and put some down the bath plug hole. Then later on ran the bath water and next the water was pouring through the downstairs loo ceiling into the light fitting which was turning on and off (even though it was off). Ran for the washing up bowl but was not enough as the force of the water bounced out and drenched me. Had to dive for the black feed bucket.... they have many uses!
Had to call the plumber out (Friday before Xmas) and he found that the attachment to the plug hole/u bend thingy had expanded and come undone and advised me to keep well clear of these drain blocking liquids as they can cause quite a bit of damage (even destroy the plastic tubing). The plumber advised to just use bi carbonate of soda.
Hope this helps.
