Washing shims

I've just bought a secondhand Nuumed pad which has gone in the washing machine, but I'm unsure about how to wash the shims (they look fine, I'm just wary about 2nd hand stuff generally)
Any ideas how to clean them effectively without wrecking them please?

I would just wipe them if they are the foam type ones I think a washing machine wash would destroy them.

Don’t bother. They don’t touch horse. If you are worried about COVID/ infection just wait 3-4 days before you use since a horse or person touched them.

Spray with Virkon E? Can get sachets to make up from tack shops.
