Washing Waterproof Chaps

I have a pair of waterproof chaps which are filthy, I was wondering how is the best way to wash them?

stick them in a machine on a coolish wash with no detergent. If this doesnt get them clean enough try a little bit of NON-BIO powder (less harsh than bio). Try not to do it too often as it drastically reduces the waerproof lifespan.

Thank you, it was the waterproof bit that was worrying me!

I recommend Nikwax products. They work on waterproof coats, chaps etc.

Wash them in Nik wax green top and re proof them Nik wax purple top

Read the washing instructions. Depending upon the type of fabric following the advice above could ruin them.
