Wasp season has arrived

OH called me today to say the horses were going loopy in the field and when he checked he found a wasp nest in the wall of the field shelter. Poor things had gone in for some shelter from flies and been chased out by wasps. Pointless post really but just be aware that the wasps have arrived with the warm weather

What was panicking our horses today wasn't wasps but a bloody great warble fly. Thought they were extinct or something in UK but they are alive and well in S Wales!!!!
